Deployment of any CRM system takes time and careful
planning. In order to assist our customers during
this process, RD Associates has developed a proven
methodology for the rapid implementation of CRM
solutions.
By working with hundreds of companies, we have
acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to
design and deliver business solutions that are easy
to implement and easy to use. This has allowed our
customers to realise the maximum value from our
solutions and gain a rapid return on their
investment.
Our project management process identifies the key
areas of responsibility, resource requirements and
timeframes for implementation. This helps the
implementation team guarantee a timely, cost
effective and successful installation process.

1. Requirements Analysis and Customisation
|
RD Associates' consultants work with you to
establish your key objectives for the system
and develop a prototype system that will
enable you to see exactly how it will work
within your organisation. The areas to be
reviewed will be dependent on the solution
being implemented, but will typically
include: defining user and their
requirements; lookup tables; security
settings; field changes; workflow/automated
processes; reports; templates.
In most cases we will develop a prototype of
the system, import a sample of your data,
and then present this to you for review
before completing the process and installing
the software on your systems. This is
likely to be an iterative process which is
refined several times before final
implementation.

2. Integrating with CRM Solutions
|
Many implementations will require data to be
transferred from your existing systems into
the new CRM system. The transfer of data
may be a "one-off" exercise to
migrate data from your old system, or the
requirement may be for a routine
transfer of data from another system e.g. a
weekly transfer of account summaries from
your accounting system into the CRM System.
Either way, RD Associates' expertise
combined with specialist software tools will
enable these potentially complex issues to
be resolved.

with other applications – such as accounting
software, quotation modules, help desk etc.

3. Installation
|
RD Associates
are experts in setting up CRM systems, with
extensive experience of implementing both
the dBase and SQL versions of the products
in a wide variety of network and workstation
environments.
Enabling remote users to access the CRM data
is often a key objective. RD Associates
are experts in setting up remote
synchronisation that enables remote users to
synchronise their data from anywhere in the
world and server-to-server synchronisation
where an organization has multiple sites.
Installation tasks undertaken include
installing and configuring the applications
on servers and client PC's, setting up
routine maintenance tasks, implementing
agreed security measures, implementing
routine data transfer utilities.

|
The RD Associates Training Facility
is located at Cranfield in Bedfordshire.
The success of any system is largely
dependent on how well users understand it;
effective training is therefore an essential
component to success. RD Associates offer a
range of specialised courses, run by highly
